I came up with this from an image I found from Freeimages.co.uk (a great site for free stock images). I remember thinking "with a little work, that would make a good 'light exploding through the darkness' image". I don't quite remember everything I did anymore, but I know it involved blurring and such. And the text, of course. At some point the quality degraded a bit, but I still like how it turned out.
